I could have a Hellcat...
Or...
A V8 Vantage.
Sure the Hellcat has 707 bhp, but Chrysler. Also, Aston Martin gets you laid, Hellcat gets you hundreds of bros asking you to do burnouts...
Which would you chose?

Aston Martin...

trying to get laid by bros? Hellcat. Vanquish is British for Vajeen Magnet.

Comparing new to used is never fair. What about warranty and repairing the aston? If you take those out of the equation, than a Ferrari could get you more laider.

Aston Martin all day long. So classy.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 12:28 |

I'd chose a Shelby.

Next question.
I'm not just being snarky, this would be my choice at $60k. The hellcat is cool, but I've driven a challenger and it's just too big for my tastes. The Aston is a better choice, but it's rare enough that I can't imagine taking care of it would be fun.

I really doubt either car gets you laid. Plus the maintenance costs will eat you alive on the Aston.
Hellcat for sure. 707HP with a warranty. Can't beat it.

HELLCAT. ALL DAY ERR DAY.
A friend of mine owns a Vantage and gripes to me about how much money he spends on basic maintenance.
Hellcat, bro. Hellcat.

More laider. #cotd

The Challenger is a bit more under-the-radar most people wouldn't give a second look. So I'd have that.

I'll take anything but the hellcat because it is a complete clownmobile.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 12:35 |

Yup. This would be mine as well.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 12:46 |

Aston Martin for sure.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 12:48 |

Nope. DeMuro proved that to be false.
And I void warranties almost instantly so that means literally nothing to me.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 12:48 |

Im okay with that.

Ummmmmm......I chose this:

And I'll pocket the leftover for another car.

laider lol!!!!!!
![]() 09/09/2014 at 12:50 |

Aston Martin.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 12:51 |

I havent been able to price one for under 70k but ill give it to you that you could theoretically find a slightly used one for 60ish by the time the hellcat hits lots.

My cousin has a V8 Vantage, 911 C2, and a Gran Turismo and he says the Aston is the easiest on his pocket.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 12:55 |

Lol. no doubt the Astons on the slower side. But it sounds sexy, looks sexy and is sexy.

7 of these. Valued modestly at $8k, that means I can afford 7.5. That way I have plenty of replacements for all the damn shootouts and char chases I get into yearly.
And then this ($3k) because why get that aston when you can have REAL CLASS.
The remaining thousand would go for insuring and shit.
This is why nobody gives me $60k to spend.

if it's one of those rare high mileage once, tell him to get ready for more lol :]
![]() 09/09/2014 at 13:02 |

So the Aston is the cheapest to maintain of 3 expensive to maintain cars? Still willing to bet it'll cost way more than a Hellcat to maintain. Especially because you'll be getting the Hellcat with 0 miles and a warranty.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 13:04 |

Hellcat. The Hellcat is just frickin' cooler than most cars out right now.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 13:13 |
|
Hellcat...you may have a shitty Chrysler but at least its at the top of the pile of shit.
V8 Vantage, you'll always get asked why you didnt get the V12.
"Coulda had a V8" turns into V12 for the Vantage.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 13:16 |

The $ amount is just a state of mind. $3000/ yr for maintenance isn't really that much to me. so I would call it a deal.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 13:18 |

Hellcat, strictly to encourage FCA to keep telling the EPA to fuck off.

I think he's waiting a few more months to dump it. Don't know what he'll get.

You can't compare new with used. After a year or two the Hellcat will be worth 45k or something like that..
I'd consider the Challenger or Charger kinda 'family' cars - whereas competitors like a Porsche or a Aston Martin or Jaguar are more 'rich old no kids' cars. The Hellcat makes a awesome 'cool dad' car. The kinda car that you buy if you really like cars but have a family..
I have little doubt that the smaller sport cars are easier to drive and live with on a daily basis for around the town crap.. The Challenger feels HUGE. It's like driving a pickup size wise - might be bigger then some pickups..

HELLCAT!!!!!!!!!
![]() 09/09/2014 at 18:32 |
|
That would be my choice, although he drives the Aston like a grandmother.
![]() 09/09/2014 at 18:34 |

HELLCAT should help grow some hair on his peaches
![]() 09/09/2014 at 18:37 |

You would think. Then again, you'd also think that driving a Vantage with aftermarket exhaust and a couple other dealership-added goodies would grow hair on his huevos.
And still, no hair.
